This tutorial is the second episode of a complete FL Studio 20 course. It focuses on the basics of the Channel Rack, explaining how to add instruments and sounds to begin creating music within the software. The video builds upon the first episode, which covered the general workflow of FL Studio 20.
The video details three main methods for adding sounds to the Channel Rack in FL Studio 20:
Drag and Drop from the Browser: Locate the desired sound in the Browser (left side panel). Click, hold, and drag the sound onto an empty grey space in the Channel Rack. This creates a new channel. Alternatively, drag and drop onto an existing channel to replace its contents.
Right-Click Options: Right-click on the sound in the Browser. You have two options:
"+" Button: Click the "+" button in the Channel Rack to add a new channel. This will generally add a default FL Studio instrument. You can then select which instrument to use within the new channel.
