played the role of mouse stick on that particular episode it was about how are 0:41 you ready I essentially imply that actually getting Nico and Monosy to your team is good GMing believe it or not I 4:38 of the year be a solid constant top five team oh that's a hot take actually well 4:44 with this roster but with just some py no other changes yes yes yes yeah and I I'll go into details a little bit and 4:50 the one thing that kind of worries me with snacks as well yeah with snacks and all the Yeah yeah that's the thing that worries me and then I have a sub a sub 4:57 take okay maybe that will you know helps with the hot yeah we don't have that but 5:03 the the thing is like uh some coming in obviously he's a he's the best player in heroic he's a we know that he played a 5:10 very good counter strike especially in the big games on the stages he always delivered numbers even in Falcons he was 5:16 statistically the best player before they sacked him so you can just go back and check right it's just it's it's out 5:21 there and if you look watch the games and he's been fairly impactful and there is a reason why G2 picked him i think he's the best one on available on the 5:28 market outside of this like top three on Super Elite Snipers right so he is the the best one to pick it up and I think 5:34 he's going to do well the more important thing they're getting a good coach so has been proven like he's been like two or three or four different teams on 5:42 three or four different majors like line of different lineups and [ __ ] so that's a that's a proven track record that's 5:48 not a fluke that's not like you know he built a team together with Snappy and then he went to heroic got this core and 5:54 then people got sold and bought and like he go to the major again now they qualify for the second stage a couple of 6:00 days ago or yesterday and like he's doing well he's a good coach the third thing is the people in Quran G2 will 6:07 have stability i know Hunter for like what 20 years now i know what will make 6:13 him play better you know you can look Hunter now he's not like he was in CSGO he's not like you know that 6:18 player fairly like the the the reason for that is himself right the form 6:24 dropped god knows what happened but there is a little bit of you know lack of what do you stability in the team 6:31 let's say it like that right they have like the people coming in and out in and out the IGL's changing not changing than 6:37 you know JKS Hookie Nico Moni whole drama as soon as he gets stability he's 6:43 going to become better by a large margin right probably not going to be the same all 2021 2022 6:50 uh Hunter but still is going to be like really really good and then you have Malbs uh who is obviously suffering from 6:58 the same issue I think as as Hunter is with the lack of stability changing roles trying to be Nico not being Niko 7:05 being himself dramas like all this [ __ ] that's happening around him i think that's going to change completely he's 7:10 going to be pro you know stable player and then you have heavy god who's going to he's a a good player probably their 7:16 best player right now I would say in the current lineup and the current state of their team right uh with that you have a 7:22 great sniper very mobile sniper very vocal sniper and very like kind of outspoken and extrovert type of person 7:30 you know he's a Spanish dude he's very loud he's very friendly he's very like and that's something that Hunter is going to appreciate right he's going to 7:36 like like that kind of semif family having fun type environment but still 7:42 doing the work and performing on a high level together with so the only like together we saw they're going to do well 7:47 the only problem there is the things like with this steak is snacks I don't 7:52 see him being there I don't see I don't see I don't know why is he why is he there still after this measure why he 7:58 should be there for you know and if he takes this personally he's absolutely right because it is personal towards him 8:04 so I don't here the thing is like um he needs to be out of that team for the team to be you know better so my kind of 8:13 sub take here's the obvious question to ask him locasad though you're having him in the team get top five in the world 8:18 like why are they going to fire him if he's top five of the world because they want to be top one in the world okay but I I don't know if they'll think that way 8:24 but top five is like Aurora Mongols right now is that enough if you're G2 that's that's you know the good question 8:31 like in pro they probably paid that a lot of money for saw and and and some 8:36 pious and then on top of that there is salaries they're probably not small you know I I heard when so was like in talks 8:42 with G2 before the only reason why they didn't get him because he asked for a high salary I doubt he just said no or 8:48 he just decreased it especially by the way I will point out I heard when he joined hero he had an enormous salary bit so I imagine yeah it would be like 8:55 my my uh kind of information is that he got around 30,000 I That's true don't I 9:01 heard the highest coaches yeah yeah because I don't know for sure that's that's why I'm saying anyway uh he 9:08 probably knows they got money for Niko Moni so why not ask for a high salary i would do it everybody normal would do it 9:14 i think he's pretty normal guy uh so with that I just think that you know G2 9:21 as an organization will look for trophies with snacks they could be top five but they cannot get trophies my take was that they should get an IGL 9:28 that's doesn't require a lot of space a lot of resources like other people and that would be Carrian for another year 9:34 or year or so right because FaZe let's say it like FaZe is we don't know what's 9:40 going to happen right it's kind of crazy like and and Shuy is on loan in Liquid maybe he goes to F there's swaps to be 9:47 made right and then IGL with that type of team he has already done it he has at least year year and a half in in in him 9:54 i think he could be a valid addition as a sub hot take right for G2 after the major so yeah that's it top five this 10:02 year with this changes and I just don't know if I can believe in it with snacks at the helm that's my 10:09 that's my main qual with the whole thing the upgrade is clear yeah that that that 10:15 is where it's hot well done well done Cassad you made me think about it for a bit there no I just I mean the thing the 10:21 truth is that Snacks did lead a team that was able to actually win some blast bounties however Nico and Monosy are 10:29 very different than Sun Pious and Malbs so I don't really think that Snacks is 10:34 cut out to be the IGL or the captain of a true top five team saw though can help 10:40 a lot like I actually the thing is that I rate Saw very highly so he could actually elevate Snacks regardless or 10:47 almost in in some way just give him the game plan and then Snacks just goes down 10:53 a flowchart of what Saw wants executed in the server whenever they win a round 10:58 they do this whenever they lose a round they do this whenever they have a half bite they do this top five I just don't 11:04 know if I really believe in the personnel beyond it i know that I want to pump I want to pump them up a little 11:10 bit for being like right now on HLTV they're eighth but to to me that's an eighth that's been slipping for a while 11:16 that's an eighth that was at one point top three and then they basically just kept cratering cratering cratering as 11:23 they they didn't get up to to eight they got down to eight that's Yeah they got they went down to eight exactly and I 11:30 think that some of the teams that are gonna and the thing is that I would just say fifth is so rid is crazy because 11:36 Vitality is gonna be number one for me for the rest of the year or at least a top two team mao Spirit Falcons are 11:42 going to occupy that two to four range probably with Falcons at the top of it all and then I just have way more faith 11:48 in the Mongols i have more faith in FaZe right now i even think because Liquid 11:54 are as long as Liquid get a coach like that's the main thing I want i think Liquid has a chance to be the fifth best 12:01 team but they until I find out who that coach is i I'll I'll give you that i'll give you that A2 could be better than 12:07 Liquid until they give somebody to help Shuhay out with the tactics it's a good take because I think like it's actually 12:13 more realistically like a true seventh best team in the world for me the thing is like you were I think you are just 12:20 looking at the G2 as it is now right that's something that Duncan does a lot as well he's like looking at the teams 12:26 right now i think right now it's not a true measurement of the team because of the instability of the team itself right 12:31 if they get stable core stable team as it is right now and then they fail I fail or be seven or eight then you're 12:38 100% right i'm looking at a little bit down the road like few months down the road where they're actually stable 12:44 without any drama anybody leaving staying being replaced and whatever right maybe there is a question of 12:50 snacks again but still just looking at the team as it will possibly be right 12:56 here's the obvious problem I have with this is it's not like we're changing three people like essentially the key 13:02 part that you can't go into because obviously we don't know what coaches do is whether what the saw effect will be i'll give you credit right that 13:08 potentially could be something that could like change some of these players cuz my problem is if I only look at the player change it's only a one player 13:15 change and I'm sorry it is downgrading i know you went to Hades in the you downgraded from modesty to sire so 13:21 listen I don't hate on sias i've always thought he's good in fact I think I say this with him and wonderful and they're 13:26 all just [ __ ] victims of the op just not being the big god in [ __ ] CS2 it's just not it's just not that big a game for that and MR12 you get less 13:32 opportunities you can't force by all that crap right so as a result I do think some pious by the way if modesty is not available and obviously I can't 13:38 have zoo and I can't have [ __ ] chro then yeah actually sump is about the next best one left by the way and I'll even say this i actually think some can 13:45 be better than fans think i see fans even still doing that thing like "Yeah but I saw like one game in Hero wasn't that good." It's like "Yeah [ __ ] 13:51 Heroic with all players i've never played CS in top tier before and they're all 13:57 possibly being in instable itself and just playing online tournaments like they haven't played any [ __ ] land." 14:03 So I can't judge him off that i look at that player and I think to myself it reminds me of the players from the end of CSGO where they just needed a better 14:09 team alexi B Dexter [ __ ] pick whoever you want simple when they're coming back I'll always give these guys like a 14:15 little bit of time before I judge them too harshly so I do think sub pious one is fine but my problem obviously is before I know what Saw can do if I just 14:21 look at the roster when they did have Monosy you can say all that about instability mate they had a lot of lands though they probably played like what 14:27 six or seven lands or something like and Monosy by the way by the last sort of half of that period was really good as 14:33 well he was like MVP material and they could barely make the playoffs bro or if they made the playoffs like you were expecting almost anyone to cook these 14:39 guys and knock them out and then by the way anytime they ever would win a series even like an unexpected one it was such hard [ __ ] work for both Mony and the 14:46 team like so my issue there is obviously I need way more from the others cuz some players can't do what Monosy could do 14:51 even at his peak that's not reasonable so excluding Saw for a second because that could be the magic factor i don't know maybe he's the alchemist that can 14:57 spin this [ __ ] into gold or whatever the problem I have is obvious which is it's the snacks factor so I'll start 15:03 with the snacks factor it goes like this bro i actually think here's I don't this is even a hot tick cuz now everyone 15:08 [ __ ] agrees with me but at the time they didn't you all remember what it was like when we all were saying Hookie was 15:13 like potentially should be fired from G2 as soon as Snacks joined and they made the EWC final and then they won that 15:19 blast everyone was going Snacks is much better than Hookie i think actually Snacks and Hookie proved that between 15:25 the two of them Hookie is the better IGL even in [ __ ] G2 because Hookie had the scoff at W Hunter when he actually 15:30 had the other one by the way he could win the biggest events in CS except the major when he came to snacks all he did is win the blasts that's it and I'm 15:36 sorry whenever you watch those performances it was his three stars just shooting people in the head literally and spoiler I mean we pointed this out 15:43 on past shows at Snake Banter but at this point in time hasn't everyone who's not in G2 almost at this point bought 15:49 skyriting like it was Nico making all the calls like it's almost everyone's 15:54 done an interview by now where they say that like essentially no one ever goes "You remember that hero call?" Yeah that was Snacks no one ever says that no one 16:01 even does the one where you just lie cuz you like him by the way as far as I know by the way none of these people dislike Snacks they just don't want to give him 16:07 credit because they don't think he deserves it so my problem basically is I do think as long as Snax is there top five's too much because if I look at the 16:14 teams I'll do what Kazad doesn't do and give my top five right obviously I can immediately put Vitality Falcons in mouse especially because Falcons is 16:19 going to potentially add another player i think even Spirit with Don should still be better but I'm with Maui after that the real problem you got if you're 16:26 G2 is this isn't the beginning of the year you got all these other teams like TL could still get better faze we don't 16:31 know yet will they gamble on Simple will they get another play will they reit that that's a their chance to be better i agree with Mongols i think Mongols is 16:38 the one that's going to make it look here's I'll give you this i do think Aurora is on the way down i actually think they're on the downs slope now and 16:44 like the Rubis has fallen off the map's fall i think they are in trouble my main problem with this move though is this 16:49 i've got two quick angles I want to give you one is I can't ignore that Hunter's still in the team like bro Hunter the 16:56 entire time he was in this roster wait there one second the entire time Hunter was in this roster um and even actually 17:03 as soon as JKS left he's never been that good a player unfortunately something went wrong with the Hookie era when he had Nex and then now with this roster 17:09 like it just it's never ever gotten to be a good player so my problem is if you want to activate him I do feel like he probably just has to be the I think 17:16 that's the last roll of the dice because as a player he doesn't live up to it and I'll tell you how you know he's not very good guys because every one of his 17:22 friends and people who like him go crazy when he has a good map the joke is you don't need to ask when did Hunter have a 17:28 good map everyone will tell you on Twitter they will all tell you because it's like a [ __ ] threemonth event 17:34 like oh my god he had a 20 that happened so rarely so first of all Hunter and Snacks are both going to drag the team 17:40 down then lastly my other detail is this and this is more of a subtle point which is this is where I actually think CS 17:46 unfortunately fans think we're just being fanboys going on about the superstars the reason I have the whole superstar theory is I actually think 17:53 even more than sports like it's really hard to like get top placings without a superstar player in CS2 cs2 has so much 18:01 firepower component to it and so my problem is when I look at the other by the way I think those other three players are all excellent players they 18:06 could all actually be in one of the best teams in the world evod slightly underrated probably melps I would say now is appropriately now people have 18:13 seen the downside without Nico and by the way I do think Sias is good my problem is for me if I was making a 18:18 roster I would take any of those players but they'd be my second or third best player if you know what I mean if I look at those three who's my number one if 18:25 you know what I mean who's like my alpha dog i don't know that there is one mate so my issue there is you can do it by 18:30 committee we're talking about like phase type or team liquid 2019 but they don't have the great IGL so that's that is the 18:36 IGL and the structure that concerns me i'll give you this though i think the take is good because at least when you do think how many people would be top 18:42 five it's close enough and then crucially essentially a lot of this take should rely on the saw factor that if he 18:48 really can weave his magic and do something extra gets maybe by the maybe he levels Hunter up a little bit maybe 18:54 he develops Mobs into the number one option who is like the mini if you can do that it's it's actually a possible take it's not a bad take certainly yeah 19:00 the the the thing is like we are I do agree with Hunter like you know Hunter analysis like he's basically 29 like you 19:07 know he's 29 we forgetting that they think that he's 24 25 he's not 25 anymore he's 29 and uh he's like doesn't 19:15 have consecutive good games or even events right actually not a single [ __ ] 19:22 consecutive event that he played good since god knows when and games like where he plays well are very rare right 19:27 that's why people go nuts I mean you can take the the the grand final against Falcons where they lost 3-0 he averaged 19:33 with seven kills per map like you know it's 20 kills for three maps it's just substandard for a for a player that we 19:40 expect in a team and whatever right especially in the grand finals but all when it comes to the rankings and teams 19:45 like the reason why they can with this lineup and the possibility I want you to 19:50 tell me the odds and possibilities here because we are assuming that the Mongols are just going to keep like going 19:55 straight line or upwards without even dropping a lot at all bit but I think 20:00 that they will drop at some point even though they are one of the youngest teams because you know as time goes by 20:06 they will get red they will get a little bit sick of each other a little bit fatigued with a little bit like form 20:12 will drop whatever like right they cannot continue I know that from experience we've seen that a million 20:18 times with other three teams spirit m spirit vitality and the falcons they 20:23 have superstars that's why we put them there they play the best contract that's why we put them there number four is mouse who is like I guess they're 20:31 they're there as the second or the third sometimes and then the fifth team can be G2 20:37 because you know of the reasons that I mentioned I'm not going to go into it again but definitely if you compare them 20:43 to Mongols Aurora Liquid and you said Faze nobody mentioned Na'Vi for a reason I guess but they can still like but if 20:50 Na'Vi makes a roster move also possible they could leap we just don't know yet we don't know that we don't know what's going to happen there so there's like 20:56 four or five teams battling for that like sure two spots like fifth and fourth I guess right or fifth and sixth 21:02 and fourth maybe those three spots I think G2 can get into that fight with this lineup especially if they get rid 21:09 of stacks right now if they want to make Hunter I drill that would be a solid move by I proposed that like two years 21:14 ago three years ago and he doesn't want to do it or whatever like the story is right but with snacks it's going to be 21:20 definitely harder but I want you to like with all these facts to tell me what is the probability of is happening like low 21:26 chance they make top they make top five that they make top five this year a stable top five for at least like for me 21:33 it's like maybe like I'd give it like a one in three chance or something so not bad but not likely yeah something like 21:39 that yeah cuz I feel there's a lot of factors moving around you know that I all need to to work out but it's way 21:44 I'll give you an obvious metric if those three bigname players are all HLTV top 20 players then it's possible you don't 21:50 have to be at the top you can you can be like the old phase and be like 18 25:38 most skilled Oceanania core ever okay because first of all Ins is just he's 25:44 just better than Aer i'm just going to I'm just going to throw that out there he's just he's just a more skilled player he actually has pop off potential 25:50 map to map he could be a better CT side player overall maybe back in CSGO you know Aer was doing more of the right 25:57 thing but I like ins can just multi frag whenever they go into him or he's just rotating and gets a couple of kills uh 26:04 second up Regali is better than Gratisfaction ever was okay he's just better than he ever was immediately 26:09 right there and then we get into some of the new guys well the third one is Leia is Leaz that's the same player um so 26:17 just taking that one right there is kind of a neutral ground there but then the last two players are Vexite and Netic 26:23 versus JKM jake Jacum jacum and JKS okay so Vexi today is less skilled than Jacum 26:30 was in 2019 however at that at the Berlin major however
