Before they were streamers, Will and Oxy were both mods in the Hey Jay live stream. They talked in there and became friends, discussing topics like weed, drugs, money, and other "pimp ass" stuff.
This video is a VOD (Video on Demand) of a livestream where the streamer, Will, interacts with his chat, discusses various topics, and reacts to viewer comments and donations. The content ranges from personal anecdotes and gaming experiences to pop culture commentary and lighthearted banter.
Here are the topics discussed in the video:
When Will talks about OSRS (Old School RuneScape), he mentions it in these instances:
Instance 1 (around 6:46 - 7:53):
"the guy that lied to me about being a top pker on Runescape. It was like Hannah's cousin was dating this guy and I just like met him once and he was like telling me all this [] about Runescape. Uh he said, what was the word that he said? There was some [] like that. Sliding. That's what it was. Yeah, he was describing to me sliding. and he's like, 'So, basically, according to the game's code, uh, I'm on this tile right here, but what it appears to be is my character standing over there, and I can basically double G Maul you, um, without you even realizing it.' And then he did like an IRL G Maul spec like an inch from my face. So, this was 5 minutes after I met the guy. Um, and you know, whatever, blah, blah, blah. But then, okay, what was even crazier was when he was trying to tell me that he was number one on Gears of War game battles. He's like, 'Yeah, me and my friend were number one on duos on Gears of War game battles.' Uh, actually, we were number two, but the number one, they were Russian hackers, and basically anytime you would go up against them, they would knock your internet offline and automatically win the game. And then they got hired by the CIA. 20 minutes after I met this guy. This is what he is telling me."
Instance 2 (around 13:56 - 15:15):
"I'm convinced that cigars make you cooler. Uh, no. Unfortunately, dude, there was a guy I went to high school with. And you know how like on Instagram it'll automatically like search your contacts and like suggest you people to follow? Like I didn't I don't think he knew this, but he had like a um he had a cigar account called like the manly gentleman or something. I don't know, like some [] like that. But he would just post these like really high definition pictures of him smoking cigarettes and drinking whiskey. But he's just like a, you know, 20-year-old guy. So, it's not really, it's just like kind of sad. Like, if you're like a [] old ass dude and you're evil also, right? It's cool to smoke cigars, I would say, and probably also drink whiskey, but I'm not saying it's weird. I I just don't I think it's bad to be smoking cigars if you're under the age of 60. I'm just going to say that. Maybe 50. Like you need to put that [] down and buy an elf bar now. Well, what manly things do you do? I don't make a [] Instagram account about how manly I am. For starters, I don't know. I think you the your 20s, you should be you should be smoking experimental [__] metals that science doesn't even know the repercussions of yet. Or just go classic and have a cigarette. You know, like those are your two options."
Instance 3 (around 13:56 - 15:15 - Correction: This is a repeat of the previous section where cigars and masculinity were discussed, not OSRS specific) Self-correction: The transcript only has one instance where OSRS is directly mentioned. The second and third quoted sections above are about cigars and masculinity, not OSRS.
Regarding the "fire cape" comment (around 8:55 - 9:13): While OSRS is not explicitly named in this instance, the "fire cape" is a highly recognizable item from Old School RuneScape. Will says:
"Dude, if it was like an infernal cape, I'd be like, maybe it took him a lot of attempts and he had to like get the gear and stuff, but it's like we can agree a fire cape is like, okay, never mind. Whatever, dude. What do you want from me? I mean, look, maybe I'm just a huge piece of [__] I just don't believe like, okay, what did the guy say? 1 2 3 Ral 123. Let's see what he typed since then. He's going to admit he was lying and then you guys are going to be like, 'Okay, Will's not elitist.'"
In this context, Will is responding to a claim about someone taking a year to get a "fire cape" and expresses disbelief, suggesting it might be an exaggeration or that the person is lying about the difficulty or time taken. He contrasts it with an "infernal cape," which is a more difficult achievement in OSRS, implying the fire cape is less significant.
